 Palm Beach International Airport welcomes service to the Home of Blues, Soul & Rock ‘n’ Roll

West Palm Beach, FL (January 14, 2020)- PBI welcomes additional Allegiant service to Memphis International Airport (MEM).

Allegiant announces new nonstop, twice weekly service to Memphis International Airport (MEM) from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) beginning May 21, 2020.

"Adding nonstop summer seasonal Memphis service to our schedule is exciting,” said Laura Beebe, director of airports for Palm Beach County. “Our growing partnership with Allegiant is strong and we are confident we will continue to see success with the new PBI – MEM service.  We look forward to welcoming Memphis to The Palm Beaches.”    

New summer seasonal, Thursday/Sunday nonstop MEM service on the Summer 2020 schedule*:

Departing MEM 9:04 a.m., arriving PBI 12:09 p.m.

Departing PBI 12:54 p.m., arriving MEM 2:10 p.m.

"We are excited to continue our growth in Palm Beach with the expansion of service to Memphis,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “From world-famous BBQ to Beale Street, we know everyone will enjoy having a convenient, ultra-low-cost option for a summer getaway.”

Allegiant offers nonstop service to seven markets from PBI: Asheville, NC (AVL); Cincinnati, OH (CVG); Indianapolis, IN (IND); Pittsburgh, PA (PIT); Knoxville, TN (TYS); Charlotte/Concord, NC (USA) and Memphis, TN (MEM).

Annually, PBI serves over 6.7 million passengers and continues to experience growth, however the focus remains on providing a safe, convenient and stress free customer experience.  Offering amenities such as free high speed Wi-Fi, in-seating device charging stations and post-security private nursing suites, PBI extends a pleasant traveling experience for families, vacationers and business travelers alike.  PBI welcomed the new Primeclass lounge, located post-security in Concourse B.  The Primeclass lounge is available for all ticketed passengers; for passengers departing from Concourse C, simply clear the B checkpoint to visit the lounge, then clear C checkpoint for departure.  As terminal projects continue to progress, passengers can enjoy an improved ticketing and check in experience, a lighter and brighter baggage claim and a refreshed atmosphere throughout the concourses and terminal.
