International Gateway
Palm Beach International Airport became truly international in
1993, following the completion of a 23,000 sq. ft. Federal Inspection Facility
within the existing airport terminal building. Services provided by U.S.
Customs, U.S. Immigration and the Department of Agriculture can now process
international passenger arrivals from flights operating into PBIA from overseas
countries.

As a new international gateway, PBIA offers competitive capabilities through its
ability to process up to 300 passengers per hour and extend all ground
transportation and service needs within very short distances after customs
clearance.
Passengers arriving at PBIA find ground assistance from their respective
airlines plus an extensive meet and greet service from our highly acclaimed
airport Ambassadors who ensure passengers find their directions and services in
an expeditious manner.
Self service baggage carts and Sky Cap service is available for international
arriving passengers.
