Federal law requires all people to wear a mask covering both nose and mouth when entering or on the premises of PBI, including awaiting, boarding, traveling on, or disembarking an aircraft.

Per Emergency Order 2020-012, Palm Beach County requires the use of facial coverings while at PBI. Face coverings shall not be required for children under 2 years of age and persons with medical conditions that are not compatible with masks. 

Complimentary masks are available for passengers and guests at the main airport security office (level 2), airline ticket counters, and security checkpoints.

A mask or facial covering is required at ticket counters, gates, in the jet bridges, and most airlines require a mask or facial covering on the aircraft.  Please check with your airline for specific requirements.   For airline travel advisories, requirements, and contact information, see links below.

For your safety, PBI closes nightly from 11:00 pm to 3:30 am to give janitorial staff the opportunity to properly sanitize the terminal without interruption of the public. We offer complimentary parking for the first 20 minutes in Short Term parking and ask that greeters meet their guest's curbside or wait for arriving guests at the Cell Phone Lot.  For additional information regarding temporary concession and facility closures at PBI, CLICK HERE.

PBI is following all guidelines provided by the Department of Health and the CDC and we are taking extra measures to provide a clean environment with increased sterilization of high traffic and high touch areas.  We encourage everyone to follow the CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of germs in our community and while traveling.

What You Can Do:

  • Don't travel when you're sick.

  • Wear a mask or face covering when at PBI and on an airplane.

  • Keep at least 6' between you and others when possible.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
