Federal law requires all people to wear a mask covering both nose and mouth when entering or on the premises of PBI, including awaiting, boarding, traveling on, or disembarking an aircraft. 

COVID-19 Testing Now Available at PBI:

Testing is available to ticketed passengers and airport employees only. 

Helix Medical Testing center is conveniently located pre-security on level 2, adjacent to the Concourse C security checkpoint.

To schedule a COVID-19 test at PBI, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Visit helixvm.com

  2. Click on "COVID-19 Testing" (Or "Telehealth Visit" for anything other than COVID-19 testing.)

  3. Complete the screening questionnaire. On the next page, it will ask you "Where would you like to test?" Select Airport

  4. Follow the remaining prompts. (Basic demographics and insurance if applicable.)

  5. Submit

Once you submit, Helix will contact you between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm to finalize the date and time. 

Testing Center Hours: Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm. Closed Saturday. Sunday 9 am - 5 pm.

Travelers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with COVID-19 Travel Recommendations by Destination and review CDC Guidelines for travel.

Per Emergency Order 2020-012, Palm Beach County requires the use of facial coverings while at PBI. Face coverings shall not be required for children under 2 years of age and persons with medical conditions that are not compatible with masks. 

Complimentary masks are available for passengers and guests at the main airport security office (level 2), airline ticket counters, and security checkpoints.

A mask or facial covering is required at ticket counters, gates, in the jet bridges, and aboard aircraft.  Please check with your airline for specific requirements.

For your safety, PBI closes nightly from 11:00 pm to 3:30 am to give janitorial staff the opportunity to properly sanitize the terminal without interruption of the public. We offer complimentary parking for the first 20 minutes in Short Term parking and ask that greeters meet their guest's curbside or wait for arriving guests at the Cell Phone Lot.  

PBI is following all guidelines provided by the Department of Health and the CDC and we are taking extra measures to provide a clean environment with increased sterilization of high traffic and high touch areas.  We encourage everyone to follow the CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of germs in our community and while traveling.
