Citizens Committee on Airport Noise (CCAN)

CCAN was established in 1982 to consider programs and offer advice to the County Commission and the Department of Airports on noise abatement issues at PBIA. CCAN has been instrumental in developing the noise abatement program described in this site. The Committee meets 4 times annually to review activity reports, operational trends, compliance with noise rules and regulations, and to monitor the status of Palm Beach International Airport's overall noise abatement program.

Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held in the Main Conference Room of Building 846 at the Department of Airports.
